Barr is our word for the open land beyond the city, and the trip out has its rituals: Thursday after Asr, letting the tyres down at the first dune, setting out the cups, conversation that never runs out. We made Barr so the ritual has clothing worthy of it.
Our pieces are heavyweight and garment-dyed, made for you after you order, so nothing waits in a warehouse. The designs come from the desert's own language: the star calendar, the vocabulary of the sand, the etiquette of coffee.
And we run on the desert calendar: a collection each season, and no sales.
